In accordance with Utah Code 20A-5-101, the Lieutenant Governor has informed the Utah County Clerk that candidates are to be elected at the
upcoming General Election to be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2012. The candidate-filing period for these offices begins
Friday, March 9, 2012 and ends at 5:00 PM on Thursday, March 15, 2012.
State Senate Filing fee $29.20 4 year term
Senate seats up for re-election 1, 6, 7, 8, 10, 13, 14, 16, 19, 20, 23, 24, 25, 27, 28* and 29
State House Filing Fee $14.60 2 year term
All State House seats are up for re-election.
*Due to mid-term vacancy, the candidate elected in this district will serve only a two year term. District will be up for election again (for a full four-year term) in 2014.
File with Lt. Governor’s Office or County Clerk’s Office in county of residence during business hours. Filing ends at 5:00 p.m. March 15.
