The UTOPIA Legislative Audit found that the UTOPIA Executive Committee Meetings are
CLOSED to the public and last several hours, which is in violation of the Utah Open Meetings
Laws.
The UTOPIA Board Meetings average 25 minutes in length and have little discussion
before decisions are made. The short meetings with no open discussion about the facts
are open to the public.
UTOPIA decisions and discussions are done behind closed doors in violation of Utah
State Laws.
